Takahashi Sake Brewery Okushimizu Junmai Ginjo Genshu "Misato Yukika" 720ml
Brewed in the naturally rich environment of Misato Town, Akita Prefecture, Junmai Ginjo Misato Yukika Lavender Yeast is a Junmai Ginjo sake made with natural yeast harvested from the beautiful local lavender. The brewery uses "Homon Shimizu," a spring water source from the Rokugo Spring Water Group, known as one of Japan's 100 famous springs, and is carefully brewed using carefully selected rice suitable for sake brewing. True to its name, Misato Yukika, it features a pure white, snow-like flavor, with a refined and elegant aroma derived from the lavender yeast that fills the mouth.
While it has the clean taste of Junmai Ginjo, you can still fully experience the natural umami of the rice, and the elegant floral aftertaste lingers for a long time. Drinking it chilled brings out the refreshing aroma even more, making it a refreshing drink to enjoy even in the hot season. It pairs well with both Japanese and Western cuisine, making it a versatile drink to enjoy with a wide range of dishes.
