Introducing a limited seasonal release from Noguchi Shuzoten, a brewery in Fuchu, Tokyo, revived for the first time in around 40 years.
Delicately aromatic with a clean, refreshing character, this sake offers a crisp dry finish while fully drawing out the natural umami of the rice. As with last year’s release, it is brewed using the “Gekka Bijin” (Queen of the Night) flower yeast.

Noguchi Shuzoten, a sake brewery revived in fiscal year 2024 after approximately 40 years.
Driven by the conviction that Fuchu's water is ideal for sake brewing, and inspired by the historical presence of the provincial capital of Musashi Province in Fuchu, we embraced the aspiration to ‘brew sake as graceful as a crane in the land of the provincial capital.’ Consequently, upon founding, we adopted ‘Kokufu Tsuru’ as our brand name, and it has remained our flagship label ever since.
The image of the ‘crane-like sake’ we strive for is... ‘A crisp, elegant sake with refined grace and beauty, drawing out the umami of the rice to create a soft yet clean-cut, light and flavourful taste.’
